YOU COULD NOT GET TO
IF IT WENT OUT OF CONTROL?

In case you were not aware, loss of the ocean's plant life would snuff out all human life, as our oxygen is produced by sea vegetation.

Would you set up anything that could prove destructive to life in a place that no human could get to and remedy? Why is this considered odd thinking when it is the only sanity profferable.

Today I heard the Coast Guard Commandant say that our government does not possess the technology required to remotely fight this leak in the earth. We are wholly dependent on BP's technology! Yet we allow this kind of drilling 5000 feet, 9 miles below the surface of the sea? This madness could cost us more that the shrimping industry in Louisiana, and I am not intending to minimize that industry.

President Obama said he is appointing a committee of some kind to study something and if he is that out of touch I am afraid for his future as President. The only thing this accident tells us is that absolutely no one is in charge anymore in government at any level and that is terrifying. So when I find myself agreeing with the Republicans who said the time for study is after we stop the leak, not now!

Meanwhile, the Tea Party element is cleaning house of all incumbents. Well, even I recommended that when we faced 8 years of Bushness, so I can share in the blame for what we see in the recent elections. As much as I detest this move against the incumbents I relish the idea that if politicos see they are only in for a single term, perhaps they will do the job they are hired to do. With the idea of never having to worry about re-election the only thing they can do is act transparently and diligently or the people can recall them.

John Adams' great grandson Henry  Adams makes it clear that the US left the A-Priori of Morals and Principles established in 1789 with our founding, during the Grant Administration.. He said then that there was no hope for this nation, and that it would be steadily tinkered to keep it going, though already it had ceased to serve the needs of the people.

This cannot go on; we are controlled by a group of people whose egos and hubris blind them to logic and reason. Idiots are screaming Jobs, Jobs! There are no jobs! They have all been shipped overseas. There is nothing interesting about the kinds of jobs left for Americans. "Can I supersize this? Sir?" may not be the kind of job that a healthy American mind wants to take or do. There was a time when there were more interesting jobs to do.

 There was a time not 100 years ago, when you could find, in almost every community, a person who could make you a Tea Pot from scratch, not to mention all your pots and pans, knives and forks. he was the Village Blacksmith! There were many such occupations that involved the creative uses of mind, hand and eye. Today that is all lost.

A nation educates its people as it wants them to behave and our nation has eliminated educated resistance to it's corruption by dumbing down the population over the past 40 years, methodically and calculatedly.

The Vietnam war was waged illegally. Never before was there such a resistance by a people to a war. To see this never happened again, deferments from the draft were given for studying teaching. This sent hippies into all the classrooms with their foolish undisciplined and drugged ways and out went the disciplines so much the core of education. And see the results. They are all around you.

If you care about the planet you inhabit write to the President and tell him to get real about he gulf leak before it does us all in.
